It seems like you have the greatest chance of having to deal with with a problem because of hazard systems, crisis, some civilizations, and some discovery cards.

The article says 45 cards plus more in expansions. The game has 30 systems and some of them won't be planets so that will be enough.
I think they changed the article after I read it! Lol, yeah 45 cards.
