you do have choice if you want to partake in the race or not (wrt milestones/awards), you're just not thrown into every race automatically. That choice is player interaction.
The choice to enter a race or not, is not player interaction. That's just a decision. The only point at which another player matters is the comparison of race performance. A race is not interactive.
And now you've argued your point, which benefits everyone "listening in" on the discussion.
Always happy to expand and engage, providing the conversation is civil. I see no reason for a discussion about board games to get aggressive and for people to start calling other people's opinions nonsensical.
