The way you pick considering the 3 main terrains share between the races is exacly what I dont like on the PICKING race aspect, but hey man, thats exacly why the game suggests both ways on its rules: selecting or random, what I provide here is a cooler way to randomize. :)

These are good points. I often times look straight at the scoring tiles and terrains available when making a selection. This would require me to leave my comfort zone and get me more engaged in the game.
My record is pretty strong with the game so I may try this when we break this out again.
