This actually doesn't work. Putting a $10 bounty on the popularity star doesn't help the true problem: getting the popularity star is too slow. Putting a bounty on it just makes it high-risk-high-reward to go for the popularity star. If you go for the popularity star and the bounty, you will be spending considerable effort to get it and you might get it, or more likely everyone else will ignore it and end the game and all your efforts were waisted.
