What if I told you Green can generate more fear than Shroud. Would your opinion change?
Shroud’s super-power in a big game is in making the damage stick. That’s a big gain in efficiency for a lot of Spirits (Green does LOTS of ping damage), but Shroud only gets to claim the Fear for finishing it off by your metric. It also means everyone has to play that game (which is one that everyone CAN play).
We count support in terms of how much does a Spirit help others grow. Shroud is offensive support. Doesn’t get many kills, so it’s mostly the Fear from keeping Invaders damaged. But it enables everyone else to get big kills faster.
If players are playing well, Shroud super power doesn't play a role. In fact, I'd argue against Shroud trying to spread out onto other boards because it then becomes a liability on it's own board. This is a common mistake that players make.
