The problem as I see it is that the only way to get a bunch of points for the "diversity" win via the majority bonuses is to ALREADY BE WINNING THE GAME because you have more points than anyone else in more categories than everyone else. The winner is decided anyway in this scenario, with or without the bonuses.The bonuses take the competition and put undue emphasis on minor degrees of differentiation among players [oh, you had one more coin than anyone else... here have 4 points!], driving marginal tit-for-tat optimizing to finagle your way into have just one more ____, rather than being the diversity driver you find them.
It doesn't remind me of Tigris at all, in fact.
