Played first 3 chapters with 2 Automa, ramping up the difficulty as I go, but the way the games unfolded felt a bit too predictably.
Fighting between Automa didn't happen as often as I thought it would, so Automa weren't as competitive (for stars) as I thought they would be.
Have now played a test solo with 3 automa and enjoyed it much more, so intend to continue the campaign with 3 now.
No real issues with playing with 3 - Just need to make sure you've got the boards arranged in a logical way, so you don't get mixed up with turn order or enlist bonuses.
Currently I don't think more than 3 would add much to the experience, so expect to play through the rest of the Campaign with 3.
