Its not as deep as Odin or agricola, more like glass road. Variation and complexity is not that huge
But it also accessible and fun to play. It has a unique well integrated them and a few unique mechanisms, like with the bats and the education of families, and the reproduction chain . It has a more positive rewarding feel to than agricola.
All in all its my favourite Uwe game so far. Though its not something I will play super often, as it doesnt have enough variety for lots of plays.
