I always play solo...i played only one game in multyplayer (4) and my experience is very rewarding. I have used up to 5 players, sometimes only 3 but I found the best balance is using 4 characters. if the possibility of alliances or betrayals arose, a d20 resolved my doubts and in the end, the best part in my opinion, is writing down the narrative for the events that occurred in the game. Personally they differ a lot in always narrating battles, empires, sovereigns, etc. indeed my story has as its protagonist myself in a sort of afterlife with sometimes very profound themes, all dictated by what the cards convey to me with their drawings or what happened in the games. I like clockwork prince but multihandling for me is better. Sometimes, when i multihandling, i use clockwork prince 's mind to follow and create actions for other players.
