We asked that Root be called Root back then since it was the core of the series as opposed to Vast which I had planned on many titles for.

At this point we would prefer to defer to the community on the issue and will leave it alone. If you want the full title for Root or any of our other games it is up to the community.

It shouldn't break any links. like Aaron above I am pretty sure BGG just ignores everything after the slash that is after the number. It is just there for the user's convenience.
