Played a really close LOME game with Christian.

[o]Saruman and Balrog showed up early. FSP got revealed on the 4th move and took the high pass as GtW and hunty WK entered. The WK proved to be very annoying for the FSP by cycling many cards. They were hit on just about every move, including 3 times where they were only found by the WK's reroll. WWSAT entered, but Strider was able to declare in Dale and get rid of it before it did too much damage. FSP eventually made it to Mordor around turn 8 with Strider, Legolas, and ~8 corruption.

Military went pretty poorly for Sauron. MT was the first target and despite having Denethor's Folly and Gothmog, the first attack needed to be reinforced by another army from Mordor. By the time MT went down, DA, Erebor, and HD were well defended, so the WK took WR then brought Gothmog and the Balrog to Lorien to duel with Galadriel. It took probably 20 dice or attacking and reinforcing, but Sauron would eventually take the Golden wood after the fsp was well into Mordor.

Strider and Legolas fell quickly, but Gollum was able to heal up 4 points and make a slow trek up the mountain. One of the moves had 4 eyes in the box: eye (canceled with Galadriel), eye (canceled with mithril) and the red 1. Things looked bad. But after elven ropes and a 1 tile, Gollum made it to the last step at 9 corruption. Sauron used a ring to put a 3rd eye in the box, making it a 3/7 chance to dunk. Sauron had Grey Havens under siege with 8 VPs and was probably going to take it with the last die. So, Frodo took the last step and drew a 2, destroying the ring! Very close game, well played by Christian.
